REAL WILD BERRY POWER: Our crunchy organic wild blueberries (V. myrtillus), also called bilberries, contain antioxidants at a level that's 3-5 times higher than that of cultivated blueberries (ORAC = 35100μmol TE/100 g). They're also high in vitamin A and E, and dietary fiber. Freeze dried blueberry tastes sweet, so there's no need to add any sugar nor apple juice to our dried organic blueberries.

SEE THE DIFFERENCE: We freeze-dry our organic blueberries, which is a good method for preserving the nutrients and taste. Wild blueberries contain several times more flavonoids and four times as much anthocyanin as cultivated blueberries. In mid-summer, there are 19 hours of daylight in southern Finland, and in the northern Arctic Circle region, it never gets dark. This abundance of light causes the formation of antioxidant compounds in organic wild blueberries grown in Northern countries.
